Cornish rex

The Cornish Rex is a curvy cat, structured somewhat like a small greyhound, whose wavy, plush, rippled coat makes it an eye catching pet. It is not necessarily less allergenic than other cats. Active and energetic, the Cornish Rex is a rugged cat, despite its delicate frame. It still sheds, so hair ball treatment should be given. These cats have a high metabolism (their normal body temperature is slightly above that of other breeds) and huge appetites. 
Do not allow free feeding! As energetic as the Cornish Rex is, it can easily overeat and become a blimp. It needs a 
Premium cat food with high quality protein and usable fat for meeting its energy needs including keeping warm.
